We have been working with Michelle for several years now and  I am very impressed with her thoroughness and expertise; if the plants are there she will find them!  In addition she completes her work in a timely manner and is very independent.

We contracted with Balk Biological Consulting (BBC) for biomonitoring at several sites on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA. The government requirements for personnel qualifications and access were specific and stringent, but BBC quickly provided highly-qualified personnel who were acceptable to the Base. Over a six-month period we required monitors with differing skills and backgrounds for a Migratory Bird survey, site supervision of work in a USFWS San Diego Fairy Shrimp area, and daily checks at a construction location in an Arroyo Toad area. BBC was able to quickly provide highly-qualified people who were very responsive to schedule changes, and they are definitely a professional business in every aspect. I heartily recommend them for any biomonitoring or related work.
